TSB - ok through FireFox but not Chrome?

I'm guessing nobody else is going to be experiencing this but i have for some time now. Finally getting round to asking why.
I can log in to TSB via FireFox not a problem. If i try it through Chrome then it's a bad 400 gateway or something to that effect. What gives?

Dunno. I've just logged in to TSB using Chrome. No trouble. Sounds as if it might be, as you suspected, personal.0

I've had problems with payments in Chrome sometimes but always worked in Firefox.
Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do and then hopefully switch away for a bonus incentive...0 -
That's another one i've noticed although i don't know whether it's specifically chrome or just my sisters account - when changing an existing payment it's said no can do numerous times. You have to cancel the entire payment and create new with the new amount.dcs34 said:I've had problems with payments in Chrome sometimes but always worked in Firefox.

Wasn't there another thread about this recently? All works fine on Chrome here.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I have always been able to log into TSB with Chrome without any issues. May be you have extensions that block TSB somehow? Have you tried cleaning your cache / history / cookies?0

That's a separate problem. It's independent of the browser used and of the account. My normal browser is Firefox, and I've never been able to change a payment - it's always been a case of cancel and start again. Irritating, but not the end of the world.JustAnotherSaver said:That's another one i've noticed although i don't know whether it's specifically chrome or just my sisters account - when changing an existing payment it's said no can do numerous times. True. Like you say, it can still get done one way or another.blue.peter said:That's a separate problem. It's independent of the browser used and of the account. It's basically like clearing your house of useless clutter, dust and dirt. No downside to it as long as you just use the 'clear browsing data' in your bowser. Though you may wish to read up [google] about deleting cookies before you delete cookies.JustAnotherSaver said:

Are any of you having trouble with it today?Starting last night i had trouble with all my browsers. I have cleared the cache but not cookies in Chrome and it's still like it was - bad gateway 400.FireFox hangs on the sign in process. I eventually was able to put in username, password and answer the 6 characters but then it said incorrect info after a LOT of waiting (incorrect - info entered was spot on, no doubt about it). Now FireFox just hangs at the username pageExplorer just loads a grey page and does nothing else.0

It's working fine for me in Chrome, FF and IE...
My usual troubleshoot for this is to clear cookies, disable adblock, VPN and all browser extensions and try again using a few browsers. If all else fails try another device. If none of that works give TSB a call if it is urgent, otherwise wait a few hours and it may resolve itself1
