Hard labour? What exactly is this item of furniture that requires hard labour to assemble or disassemble? Most items of flat pack furniture requires a few screws and minimal effort, that's the whole point of it, being easy to do DIY assembly.

I rather suspect he is a she ... natz suggests an abbreviation for Natalie.   (Although it could, possibly, also be for Nathaniel).
