I haven't received anything back from my SAR request from First parking LLP which was sent on 30/10/20 should I send a follow-up letter asking for this?Send chaser with 7-day deadline, if they don't respond in that timescale, tell them you will report their refusal to the ICO. Make sure you do complain if they fail to deliver in 7 days. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I have received the SAR information from First Parking LLP.
A few points/ questions from the information;
1- There is a copy of a 'Parking Charge Notice' letter for both PCN's dated 05/02/2019 @ 19/03/2019. I moved house in August of 2018 and forgot to change the registered keeper's address on the v5 for the car involved to my new one. I would not have received this correspondence as no post was forwarded from my old address. It was too late to add this to my defence but I'm guessing I should use this information in my witness statement and evidence?
2-Included in the SAR information is a timeline of actions taken by First Parking of which 5 entries are blurred out I understand that they may have to blur out employee's names or forms of identification but it seems to be a fair bit of information missing. Is this OK for them to do?
3-In my defence It says 'The defendant remembers a ticket being issued outside of the permit holders only hours and calling the security campus on the internal university telephone system as they are responsible for issuing tickets. They admitted that a fault had been made and it was due to the issuer of the ticket being a new team member.'
The two photographs of my car parked in the car park are timed within the permit holders only period stated so don't relate to the above statement. Will this reflect badly or is there anything I will need to amend at the witness statement stage?
Apologies for all the question I have 2 other Claim forms I'm dealing with at different stages that I am about to start threads on, I
appreciate all the help and guidance so far and in advance.1 -
I think both can be addressed and corrected/explained in your WS. And you could mention that you don't understand why part of the data record is blurred out and put the C to proof of what is redacted (names would be acceptable to redact but not information about the event or actions taken).PRIVATE 'PCN'? Indeed, we dont know what has been blurred as we have little context0

On the 9th of March, I received a Notice of allocation to the small claims track letter. I was too focused on the dates that I need to submit documents on the reverse that I missed on the front that each party must 'send to the court office' with an email and number for me to contact. The deadline date is today! but what does this mean exactly send what?0

Sounds like you should've sent the court your email address and contact telephone number by 4pm today.nankai8 said:On the 9th of March, I received a Notice of allocation to the small claims track letter. Send an email to the court now with that information.1 -
Yep, give them the phone number that you want the court to call on the day of the hearing. And email addy of it asks for that but surely you are emailing it anyway! Don't delay, don't ask us if you are too late, don't wait, don't call the court tomorrow. JUST DO WHAT THE ORDER SAYS, AND DO IT NOW.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm struggling to come up with some valid points for my witness statement here and the deadline is tomorrow at 4. I have posted a WS and evidence draft for a separate case and thread, which I felt confident putting together, and although there hasn't been any feedback just yet feel it's OK. But I'm pretty unconfident and don't know where to go with this one.
My points made in the defence arent very relevant now. Their witness statement is extremely detailed. I received 2 tickets less than two months apart in this car park in this claim so think the judge will just think after the first one I don't really have a point about the signs.
So far I have put about there being no signs at all upon entrance or exit of the car park, a permit holders only sign being blocked by a wall near to the entrance and I will put about the notice to the keeper and other documents being sent to a previous address and not received.0 -
There is a template WS in the NEWBIES thread, so adapt that.
Is this claim about both tickets? If not, how will the Judge know there were 2 within 2 months?
Their WS is NOT 'extremely detailed'. It is a very long and boring template of legal argument and not a witness statement of any use to the court. All these template parking firm/robo-claim solicitor WS are the same, pages and pages of utter drivel. Stop being impressed by how long it is and how many words they know.PRIVATE 'PCN'? I have adapted the template from the thread. The claim is unfortunately about both tickets yes so
I have finished a draft of the witness statement and unfortunately have very little time to work on it today. I will redact information and post it.0
