 many phones can be unlocked by purchasing a code from ebay for a couple of quid  and can take less than a day

Thank you guys, He is taking it back to his granddaughter (with the link to Tesco you sent me) it is registered to her and they have her email to send the instructions to, I'm sure she will be able to do it a lot easier than her granddad could.
