I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

An update: the landowner has replied to me and has agreed to look at my appeal. Fingers crossed.
He seems to think the signage is 'adequate'. I obviously disagree.
Will keep you posted.4 -
what did you say to the landowner? From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"2 -
"Thank you for your professional reply.
I disagree that the signage is adequate. There are indeed signs but they are not sufficiently clear. I will refer you to the attachment which outlines my appeal in detail.
A point for you to ponder on is why this is even an issue in the first place. I use multiple council run carparks in the borough of Ealing and their signage is always large, in eyeline, large font and describes the terms at the entrance. Why is it that this private company has not provided a level of clarity even close to their council counterparts? People within my social and business network were not even aware signs existed on site.
The vehicle was on site for 171 minutes. The purpose of the stay was a private business meeting with a colleague over coffees (this colleague had not been met with since before the lockdown). Service used was at Costa Coffee.
I would appreciate if you do look at this appeal and consider revoking the notice. People within my network and myself have used the Costa Coffee and KFC many times before but this issue has left us all with a very sour taste. Particularly during this time of economic uncertainty.
I hope we can maintain our good relations and ensure repeat business at Costa Coffee and KFC (and generate some new business at Vanguard in the future)."
The word doc I attached to him is my original appeal based on the template I found here (before I found the newbies thread):

It also includes screenshots from my dashboard cam, pictures etc.
He asked me some questions prior hence the added details.
