Keep old number get new SIM only deal

I am updating my phone and want to keep my old number when changing my SIM only contract, but I need to get a new SIM because my new phone only takes a nano SIM card. Can I get a new SIM only (nano) SIM and use a PAC to keep my old number?

If you're going to a different provider they'll send out a SIM (which will pop out to nano SIM size if needed) and you'll use a PAC to port your number across.

If you're taking a new contract out with the same provider, just ask for a replacement SIM.
