New Zopa Credit Card - A Second Chance for those with poor history?

in Credit cards
I just thought I'd share a really positive experience I've had with a suprise new lender on the market.
I've had some difficulties in the past, ex partner debt from donkeys years ago, paying it off because I'm a moron, all that sort of thing which ultimately culminated in my bankruptcy 18 months ago.
All done and dusted now, well behind me, all my old accounts are closed and settled, new life ahead of me with a good job, a good salary, good prospects, savings, and a stable partner.
We both live well within our means and even though I've only been discharged from my bankruptcy for six months now we are well on our way to saving a 15% deposit for a good house which we'll be buying once I've been discharged for three years.
Anyway, background story over, I was perusing Clearscore today, just to make sure everything is correct - some old lenders have nasty habbits of launching inaccurate data at my credit file from time to time requiring letters to be sent but it seems to have all settled down now.
The usual sub-primers Capital One, Vanquis and Aqua don't want to touch me with a 10 ft barge pole. I don't mind. I don't blame them.
But I did find that I was pre-approved for a Zopa credit card when perusing my ClearScore account today.
It turns out the card only launched a month or so ago. Nothing special, £300 limit with 34.9% APR but it's nice to know there's a new lender on the market willing to give those who have gone through a rough patch a second chance - and wanted to share this as Zopa could be someone you want to consider if you're in a similiar situation to me and want to start rebuilding your history again.

Don't count your chickens just yet - apply first then celebrate.
There have been numerous posts on here recently of people being pre approved but then declined.2 -

Thanks OP
Think I'll have a search for Zopa card.
p.s. You seemed to have in effect moved on from using credit.
Do you plan to re pay in full each month, which I have never got used to with cards from medium to longer term use.

I guess there's no way to win with the likes of you still lurking here.2 -
I would reply but I am busy enjoying some Walkers Doritos. They come in many flavours such as Cool Original and Chilli Heatwave, and are easily available at all good stockists for around 55p for a 28g bag, with only half the saturated fat of normal crisps.4
