Thank you Sarah, Tigger and Honeysuckle - your posts were hiding on the next page and I've only just seen them - sorry!
We don't know when the funeral will be yet - everything is backlogged in their area of Wales and we're waiting to find out,
I've worked out that if I took the last week off work and isolated it would get me to Xmas day ok - will have a proper think about it, although I spoke to my mum yesterday and she's now even more paranoid (rightly so) about going out, seeing people and having any visitors at all. Decisions to be made over the next few days.....

So last night I watched The Lie on Amazon - bit slow in parts but a good twist at the end - not too long either. I just don't seem to have the patience to watch anything over 90 mins or so these days
Trying to convince myself to go for a run with the dog but its freezing and damp and I'm lacking in motivation - I need to walk him so running might make that warmer and get it over with quicker!
I have a few little jobs to do today - make sure all the presents that have arrived are actually ok and then wrap them up, clean out the inside of the car (its like a mobile skip with half of the park thrown in for good measure by the dog), wash the spare room bedding (again a mucky dog thought it was great fun to jump all over them), go for a big walk later this afternoon for some fresh air and daylight and do about 90 mins of school work to get ready for the week (no more though!).
I'll also cook something for tea that will end up with an additional portion for tomorrow so its easy when I get home after the usual Monday night 2 hour meeting. I might go mad and tackle cleaning the oven but its a job I hate doing and so I might just ignore it for another week

Right, time to get dressed in running gear and see if it inspires me to move my backside faster than a dog walk.....

So, a fairly productive morning - have forced myself for a 30 min run with the dog (always fine once you get going!), washed the bedding, cleaned the car inside and out, dropped a newspaper off for my elderly neighbour (the one that lost his dad last week) and done the recycling. Phoned home and they're very down today - think its sunk in now . Its really hard just being on the end of the phone and not being there  :/
Need to still do the school stuff but can't be bothered yet - will have some lunch and think about it.....

I often struggle to get out the door for a run but once I do I have never regretted doing so, sometimes it’s the only way I can get some headspace to get some perspective, sorry about your bereavement and the problems at work, it does however seem to make your intended plans all the more sensible and the right move for you.

Sorry for your loss. I would find a way to go home for xmas after suitable self-isolation. I'm sure a gp would help under the circumstances. You are stressed and having a psoriasis flare up too....

So sorry to hear this news. Very scary times. Definitely consider giving your doctor a call - unless work helps distract you...
