If I didn't know any better then I'd be under the impression that you would rather take offence at the subject matter and the poster rather than continue the thread without resorting to unfounded assumptions.
MSE is a forum and I posted this subject matter under 'consumer rights' with the hopes that someone who has had a similar problem or experience could shed some light on the matter and give an opinion as I've already stated that I've exhausted most options so to say just continue to contact Amazon is not an option for me as I'm not getting anywhere with them

I suspect you have gotten caught up in 'computer says no' scripts that don't actually look at the full situation. I wonder if its worth using MSE's resolver app. Give dates of when you sent the email stating the wrong game had been sent. Refer them to the fact that they received this wrong game, but won't refund you because it isn't the game you purchased. List the contacts you have had with Amazon.
Or use the email address given above for the CEO.., this can mean a human being looks at the situation.0
