How often do you change your car?

I've changed cars 3 times this year, and I plan to switch cars again next year.

Previously it's been about 3 years, as I became totally bored with and needed a change.  (Usually 3-5 years old when bought).  
Bought my latest car on PCP as I thought well if I'm going to change it in 3 years why not!  But for the first time ever I can't think of a car I want more than my Mini Cooper S (that is not pie in the sky never going to happen expensive) so I have got a loan to pay the PCP off in full and on a lower APR.  Will need to keep for it 5 years - will been my longest owned car!

Owned current car, Kia Sportage, 6 years (7 year old car), now at 101k. Will change it if something mechanically huge breaks which is a four figure bill to put right. 

Previous to that shortest time was 2 years (Citroen Saxo, written off in a crash) and longest was 9 years (Citroen C3, put 143k on it, then needed 3k of work doing and was worth well under half of that, traded it in)

If we include motorbikes shortest goes down to 4 months (50cc moped, sold as soon as I could ride 125’s)
