Oh don't remind me of the bills.  Paying for AOL and paying the phone bill per minute on top and nobody
could phone at the same time.

Download flat out 20mb per hour, crossing my fingers the 18MB or 20MB file finished before the 1 hour cutoff.

AOL offered me Free AOL and Free calls upto a limit, I jumped at that.  They later supplied BB when an engineer had
to come and install it. A whopping 512kb..  Too far from the exchange to get faster at the time.

Years later moved to O2 with their "UNLIMITED" downloads, I built and installed quite a few systems around the same time
and O2 phoned me and said there is unlimited and there is taking the "P".  Seems I had downloaded over 300GB in less
than 2 weeks.  

That was on a 4.5MB connection, imagine his face now with, done 1TB in a month with Plusnet.

Youngsters have it too easy,  £20+ for your ISP,  £+ for your phone line per month  pp? per minute for the call itself. What
