i don't think this will be big enough?  it says 2.5mm and my cable are 2cm.
2.5mm refers to the individual inner cables. The clips to secure 2.5mm cable are about 10mm wide to allow for the inner cables & outer insulation

    It says "double", doesn't it?
As I said, this cable is about 10mm wide.
    10mm*2=20mm=2cm

Metal P clips fixed to the wall with screws & wall plugs. One clip per cable, and a single screw for both clips.

An ebay listing selected at random - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pk-of-10-RUBBER-LINED-P-CLIPS-STAINLESS-STEEL-CHOOSE-YOUR-SIZE/261701764673 - £4 for a pack of 10. Not too shabby a price seeing as it includes postage. Stainless steel, so ideal for outdoor use.

It most certainly is not. It's 2.5 SQUARE millimetres and refers to the cross-sectional area of the conductors. The cpc will be 1.5 sq. mm in a 2.5 sq. mm T&E cable if it's a BS 6004 version. (Different for I.S. 201-4)

    It will.
Usually they are used in equipment/machinery - hence the bolts.
