Another one bites the dust !!2 -
Super result. It's just a joke that they reduce the charge, one offer after another, like a Dutch auction. So you can now happily sail off into the sunset, or should that be dive, dive, dive! All the very best. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done! ANOTHER PPS / BW LEGAL ONE BITES THE DUST!
Background to this case:i filled the instructions on the LCD of the pay and display machine and at no time did it ask for a registration number or indicate that i had did something wrong. Shouldn't their LCD machine take a customer through the correct process of getting a ticket and should contain no pitfalls or traps.
Instead, the machine printed a ticket which the letters PP where the registration number should.
Just going back over the facts (above) and the case that I pointed out at the start (below, where Excel's machine printed out 'QQ':
http://nebula.wsimg.com/bfcdd95c68b82bcc6b68408a75d23021?AccessKeyId=4CB8F2392A09CF228A46&disposition=0&alloworigin=1
This case was a complete waste of your time from start to finish. If you have incurred any costs as a result of it (postage/phone calls/printing?) then CPR 38.6 says (unless you agreed to a drop hands offer and no costs) that in the event of a discontinuance, the C is liable for the costs of the D.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This thread is almost 3 years old and much has changed in the private parking world. Do not blindly rely on the detail here. Best you start a new thread of your own, with details of your parking event and charge to get the most up to date advice. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
