Audi A1 TSFI Sportsback 2017
Options
Hi Im buying the Audi A1 sportsback I noticed the exterior lights dont have the auto option on the dial and when the lights are on and you turn the enigine off you have to manually turn the dial to off. I would have thought that a 3 yr old car would have automatic!

In your other thread, you did not know you had ordered the car...

Now, you don't even know what equipment the car has.
What did you check when at the garage? It is wise to use the same due care and attention buying a car as you need to use when driving it. I assume you do use due care and attention when driving?1 -
No not at all ! I always knew i wanted the car but hadn't test drove it so was worried that I may not feel comfortable in it! Also im a nurse which isnt a bad job im also by no means in poverty! So need for the nasty comments thank you.1

You have made a statement that the car does not have auto lights.
You made another statement that you thought any 3 year old car would have auto lights.
What advice are you actually after?1 -
Hmmm I wonder if the OP realises what AUDI stands for?0

"poverty spec" wasn't a comment about you, it's just a common phrase for a bottom of the range car with minimal features.6

As VAG produce the same cars under different brands buyers could have a better equipped car from Seat, Skoda or VW, but it won't have an Audi badge. A poverty spec Audi appeals to those buyers.

Reading the manual, http://www.manualesaudi.com/AudiA1/en_GB/onboard/o_m00095.htm it seems there are all sorts of functions, if you leave the dipped beam on I would expect them to be off when you remove the ignition key. If you leave sidelights on I expect them to stay on when you remove the ignition key.0

What he said, poverty spec is the base model which is usually to get a headline figure or for people to buy a fancy badge for cheap. It's a prestige car so at base spec it probably has less features than you'd find on a mid spec "cheaper" car.
If there are features you want then double check they are there before you pay for it.
