Probably doing some psychology course and finding out how people respond to ridiculous scenarios with more holes in the story than a sieve2

Except it's a perfectly logical scenario which I'm sure happens day in, day out... The only glaring hole I can see is an incorrect date - which while possibly could be a sign of a mastermind meticulously planning a daring ruse for the future, could also just be the wrong date.ToxicWomble said:Probably doing some psychology course and finding out how people respond to ridiculous scenarios with more holes in the story than a sieve
I know some people on here have a huge paranoia about people making threads just for fun but that makes very little sense. The much more likely situation is that they're a naive individual who hasn't got the answer they wanted so didn't bother to reply, have already found the answer elsewhere or were just scared off by the typically aggressively judgemental posts - many people don't respond well to that.1 -
One thing that I learnt over the years is that there's often far more to a story than actually gets told. Until the full facts are established , judgement is reserved.callum9999 said:ToxicWomble said:Probably doing some psychology course and finding out how people respond to ridiculous scenarios with more holes in the story than a sieve

Do some homework before posting - in just the last month count the number of threads from new posters who never come back to update us or give more information.callum9999 said:

They are taking the michael - ridiculous stories with more holes than swiss cheese.1 -
This is a very common scenario in pretty much any online forum where people go to ask questions on pretty much any topic. People register to ask a question, ask it, get the answer (whether it's the one they wanted or not) then leave. It is, perhaps, impolite, but this is the internet, politeness is pretty rare.jonesMUFCforever said:Do some homework before posting - in just the last month count the number of threads from new posters who never come back to update us or give more information.0 -
It’s not really typical trolling to ask questions even if they seem far fetched.0

I don’t see it as far fetched. When I worked in commercial banking I received an alert for one of my customers, a self employed carpenter. His business was entirely domestic with no overseas trade. He received a number of payments of increasingly large amounts from Australia. Upon investigation his wife’s earnings as a webcam model was being paid through the account, and as the bank was not keen on involvement in adult entertainment which is considered human exploitation, we closed the account.Dr_Crypto said:It’s not really typical trolling to ask questions even if they seem far fetched.2
