Are isupply energy contacting people for refunds?

Hi, has anyone received an email from 'charlie mills' at isupply energy claiming to have a refund?
I did a google and it seems like isupply have been forced to repay customers for overcharging them and are shutting down.
The refund amount quoted also matched the in-credit amount when I logged into the isupply account page so it seems legitimate. Anyone heard otherwise?

Doesn't match my experience as an ex iSupplyEnergy customer.
1. All emails I received from
SupportTeam @ isupplyenergy.co.uk
included no personal names.
2. iSupplyEnergy left the UK energy market and all customers were transferred to EDF. Not heard of any allegations of overcharging.
3. All my communications had been with EDF since I was transferred to them on 10th July.
Since June (not July) I had been unable to login to my iSupplyEnergy account.
I was owed over £100 credit on my ISE account and EDF not only sorted out the incorrect bills but agreed to process the refund. It has taken until this week (19th October) to finally sort it all out.

It could be legitimate. I received a letter promising a refund from Shell Energy which baffled me for a moment until I remembered that I'd been with First Utility quite a long time ago and they'd been acquired by Shell later on. A week or two later I received a cheque for £2.54.Just make sure that if there's any follow up you don't give any personal information such as bank details or date of birth; tell them to send you a cheque. However, scams often work by piecing together various bits of data, and the fraudsters might have most of them apart from DoB. I received several nuisance calls claiming to be from BT offering free calls because I'd been a good customer for a long time and always paid my bills promptly. IIRC they quoted my address (which is in the directory) and asked for confirmation, saying that they needed to be sure that the right person would benefit. That's meant to reassure you, to soften you up so that so that when they ask the next question you happily volunteer your DoB without thinking. Fortunately, I'd known it was a scam from the start (I ditched BT years ago) but no doubt others fall for it and when their bank account is emptied don't even realise how the missing piece in the ID jigsaw was obtained.0
