TIMESHARE CLAIMS

I have been cold called by Aegis Direct saying I have a claim against timeshare companies that I was involved with. They in turn pass this onto Claims Solution Group who see if I qualify for their Solicitors to make a compensation claim for me, however they want an up front fee of between £10k-£12k to pursue this for me immediately. Has anyone had dealings with either of these companies and what advice do you give please.

I found this comment from queries last year, no reason to suspect anything has changed
They used to be known as Timeshare Claims Solutions Ltd, changing their name last year. The Timeshare Association website reports links to a fraud involving Eze Group with criminal proceedings for fraud involved, so perhaps best to steer clear.
In all events, never pay a penny to any company which claims to be able to 'get rid' of your timeshare, the Claims Solution website is careful not to suggest that what they offer is a pay on results option, so I suspect they want cash upfront. Don't throw good money after bad might be a good motto to remember here

Tell them to take their fee from the monies they recover for you. You will not be bothered by them again.

A recent press article pointed out the dangers of parting with even more cash- and that the same scammers who used to flog dodgy Timeshares are now turning to fake "money back" crime...

I'm guessing this is the same CSG who have their own thread here? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6029711/claims-solution-group/p1I'll repeat here what I posted on that thread - "If we were seeing long standing members of the board, with hundreds of posts, singing the praises of this company that might carry some weight. When the only one's doing so are first time posters their credibility is low to say the very least. Who told them about the topics here in the first place? It's not the sort of thing you would do a casual search for if you were already a happy customer."

Similar to the first time post that actually started this thread you mean........hmmmm interesting and funny how the same people stumble across it to I would say? I found it because a friend of mine was in a similar position with their timeshare so I recommended they give these guys a call after all they did for me but my friends did a Google search and came across these comments which concerned them a bit. I assured them that CSG are a genuine company providing a very valuable service to people in need of help but I was also made very aware of the tactics timeshare companies and scam companies use to discredit them and try to scare people off, like setting up random blogs on trusted sites like these so therefore I felt obliged to share my experience. Take from it what you will.0

I've just seen this headline on Facebook so obviously it must be true! Spanish Courts rule Anfi, CLC, Diamond Resorts & other Timeshares were MIS-SOLD and order FULL refunds to customers. The link from the item unfortunately doesn't take you to the news article but to the Timeshare Advice Centre where they want your details. Possibly worth further investigation, independantly, if you think this may help you.0

Hi - has anyone had ANY success relinquishing their timeshare in America? Like others I've already succumbed to one scam, now all these companies mentioned in this thread have contacted me, all bad mouthing the other and all receiving very dodgy reviews and all of them on the hard sell to pay up front to get you out of the contract, then claiming they'll get you thousands back in compensation. I'm loosing the will to live on this. Thank you.
