Faster payment Chargeback Advice Needed Please

I sold a item on gumtree last week.
The buyer lives in Belfast I'm in Manchester so I was asked to post the item once I received clear funds in my bank account.
I posted the item the same day by special delivery.
Buyer then contacted my bank saying that the item had not arrived.
I checked with royal mail and it had been delivered and signed for.
2 hours later he gets his bank to contact mine to say he has been defrauded.
My bank which is Santander says he claims the item is cosmetically different to the one I posted to him
He made payment to my account via faster payment.
Santander asked me to go into a local branch to give them copies of the images of the item I sent to the buyer also a copy of the proof of postage receipt.
I went there the next day (Saturday) and handed them to a manager.
I have been back in touch with my bank and they said faster payments cannot be subject to a chargeback.
If this is correct then why has my account been frozen?.

It's not chargeback as such but yes, when a Faster Payments sender claims that they've been defrauded then it seems that the recipient's bank can freeze the account while the claim is investigated.0
