Mr Clark said that Parking Eye did all the checks on the land, clearly not ?

This business about the word "fines", the majority of people will call it a fine, us being in the minority know better. Again with the word "bailiffs" people getting these debt letters have probably never experienced anything like it before ... it's no wonder, especially when we have seen the latest ELMS Legal rubbish about doorstep collection

It's good that PE are refunding now despite their stance.  Makes you wonder how many sites PE ticket on where they have no rights.  Doubt the BPA have a clue ? as they don't with so many sites.

And Mr Clark blamed the delay of the new code on brexit.  I was not aware that Mr Jenrick has any part in brexit
Not a very convincing interview and let's face it with a new code of practice and appeals service, all the BPA will be left with will be taking membership fees and complaints about parking companies and of course whatever else they do .

At least the programme highlighted the introduction of the new code to millions of people

It is time this rate was revised.  My BTL mortgage is 2.9%, i can get an unsecured loan from by bank at 6%.  I believe that my sons mortgage is less than 2%  Are they in partnership with Brighthouse.

I would wager that ParkingLie will only refund where an appeal or complaint has been made by a motorist. I doubt they will refund money to those who have just paid up without appeal or complaint.
I also doubt they will pay back interest at 8% which most court claims seem to include.  ;)
Anything could happen with an out of control BPA member. And what about those who paid £170 which includes the fake amount ? ........  Doubt Mr Clark will do anything as he must be seeing his power drift away into the sunset

The last resort is the court, a CCC is as cheap as chips imo.

Bit late, could have been done two weeks ago when the consultation was still open!

Those people should not have to go that far and the BPA should come clean and admit they have lost control ?

For a long time now the "tail has wagged the dog" and the performance of the BPA  is very poor.
When Gloria was talking to Clark, she made a very valid point that it was only resolved when Rip off Britain got involved and NOT the BPA proving the fact that the BPA just support parking companies

I think Clark needs to be reminded that once the code is introduced, as said in the house of commons, it's not just PPC's that will suffer ? the ATA if they don't behave themselves will go down the same route

The BPA could have stopped this being shown on TV if they were professional.  Clark said that Parking Eye did all the checks which turned out to be wrong.  Does Mr Clark believe everything he is told ??
