Ignorance in matters such as this is to be avoided, these companies can ruin peoples' lives.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • @D_P_Dance Yeah, I've read some real horror stories, they can be very cold, I think it's awful!

@nosferatu1001 Charge was not paid. Driver was told numerous bits of information stating that the PCN's were to scare those from outside the place of work into not parking there. Driver was also told to ignore all correspondence following a PCN. Basically, advice based on ignorance and an ignorant driver :/
Do you mean the daily charge to park was not paid, or the parking charge from the scammers was not paid?
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D
    All my screwdrivers are cordless.

    Stupid.
I imagine work wont help? Has the driver tried that?
  • @nosferatu1001 I agree, stupid indeed. The place of work has advised the driver to come to an agreement with those seeking the fine.

It is not a fine.  If you continue to use this term a judge may find against you.

    Then its fight or pay
Have you read the newbies thread CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY, looking into the defence there? HAve they complied with POFA to hold the KEEPER liable? You know this, for sure, because that is your job to do.
  • @D_P_Dance thanks for the correction, appreciate it!
  • @nosferatu1001 Yes, fight or pay is exactly the scenario. Working through the newbies thread again, paying particular attention to defence. I appreciate your instruction!
