Skirting Board Gaps

Hi all. I had laminate and skirting installed a few months back and there are smallish gaps in between the skirting boards and the laminate which is allowing cold drafts coming in. I want to fill them up as soon as possible as it is making the house feel colder. The gaps are around 2-3mm with one or two small areas going up to 5mm.
I read online that people use caulk or silicone. Any ideas which would be best without ruining the look of the skirting? Or is there another option apart from taking off the skirting or beading. Thanks

I happened across this yesterday when looking at how to fill a different type of gap: https://www.littlehouseonthecorner.com/gap-between-skirting-and-floor/0

Silicone - if you can find matching colour.

Clear will seal the gap, but will look dark.

The skirting is white and the floor grey. Picture below. Would clear silicone look better? Also would the method of using draft excluder as shown above not work? Looks easier lol0

If boards are white, then white silicone is better IMO.

Also would the silicone cause any issues i.e expansion gap1

Bear in mind the reason you tend to use caulk rather than silicone is that it can be painted over, so bear this in mind if you use silicone and need to paint the skirting at a later date.
