My advice is to stop complaining and start providing monthly meter readings. They cannot give you an accurate bill without knowing how much energy you have used. Reading a meter takes a few seconds; making endless complaints and then posting your woes on Internet forums takes hours of your life which you'll never get back.1

Yes you're right, I'll roll over and let them tickle my belly.
Thanks for that. Glad I came.

The fact is your smart meter isn’t working, you’ve eventually got through to them by having to go to the ombudsman. Whilst that is getting sorted submit a meter reading (regardless of whether it defeats the object of a smart meter) as then at least they can bill you accurately, rather than with estimates. Then vote with your feet and change supplier as it sounds like eon have been nothing but hassle.2

If they can't fix the smart meter will a new supplier replace and install their own though? Or could it be the same problem again?0
