The bill was only an estimate. They have no idea what energy is being used.
In over a year I have had 2 gas bills one for £700 after I complained and complained and now I got this estimated after I complained to eon again.0 -

Are you able to read the meter yourself and if so have you given e.on the meter readings?1

At the same time kind of defeats the idea of having a smart meter0

But if you've been told there's a problem with your smart meter and you've had an estimated bill why wouldn't you give a meter reading. Why wait to be asked? What do you think the Ombudsman will do.1

They have only told me in the last email.
This is only after complaining to eon numerous times and then ombudsman.
I don't know what the ombudsman will do, hence why I asked. But if eon won't take action I don't have much option0 -
Sorry I should have worded that a bit better. What would you like the Ombudsman to do. I'm guessing you'd like your smart meters to work again but this might not be something the ombudsman can rule on depending what the issue is. They definitely wouldn't be able to do anything about the app.0

The app issue is what it is. An inconvenience.
I'm not sure what I am hoping for. Just hope the problem can be fixed after 12 months of complaining to eon0
