TAP Portugal changes my flight by 4hours 40 minutes and to a completely different airport!!!!

WRITE to your bank quoting the appropriate legislation. Make it clear that your next step, should they fail to satisfy their legal obligations, is a complaing to the ombudsman.p9cbs said:So, I have tried to do a chargeback with my bank but they say I need evidence from ABTA or ATOL in the form of a headed letter stating that they recommend I go through my bank to reimburse a total of £1180 that TAP owe me. This is a total minefield. As far as I can see TAP Air Portugal are not members of ATOL or ABTA so I am not sure I have a leg to stand on.
