I recently applied for the government replacement boiler grant as mine is 36 years old. I was quoted £600.00 a couple of weeks ago, then today they said the rules had changed and I would have to pay £1000.00. I don’t understand how this can be allowed. Is any one able to advise . Many thanks

Hello, I hope someone can point me in the right direction as to how I can get a grant to replace my over 40yrs old warm air heating system.
I go onto the Gov website it shows that I cannot get a grant? How can this be so?
My boiler is so old that the manufacturers stop producing this system in the 80s.
