Sixt delayed toll costs (16 months later)

When in Portugal in 2019 we had a hire car with Sixt (horrific - will never use them again but thats another story) and got the wee machine for tallying the tolls, and the costs came off our credit card bill the following month. We have just received an email to say there was an error in the system we were not charged for them all and they will be taking more money from us. Its only a small amount, but given they actually lay on the ground to check the under carriage of our hire car, in a dark returns garage and the guy actually spat on his hand to rub at a bit and claimed there was a scratch, for which we were charged around £200 (we were about to miss our flight because the return took nearly an hour because of the garage being so jam packed with others returning at the same time) I'm not particularly keen to give then ANY more money, and I'm suspecting that they are hitting folk randomly with small amounts as its probably not a large enough amount to particularly bother most folk (and indeed really isn't that much) but if they do it to a few thousand folk it could be a great wee money spinner for them . Thoughts please?
