  • What do you mean by my rented house Crashy_Time?  I've just sold my railway station and am in a rented cottage.
I am sorry my ex neighbour hasn't sold yet.  When I was selling the station, which was right up against the line,  people were very concerned about the trains and some viewers actually shouted out when one went past.  Only takes a week to get used to them, they pass at such high speeds.

So more a problem with the train rather than the chain, interesting. What did the viewer shout, or were they drowned out by the train?
  • Bad memories Crashy_Time.  I only did six viewings out of the thirty myself, and too many were just coming for a nosey.  I did keep an ECML timetable to hand as people asked what times the trains passed.  The first exclamation was by an elderly mother accompanying her daughter who shouted 'oh no' and had to sit at the kitchen table. Next time it was a man and he said 'f that's close';.  It was clearly a disused railway station. with a live line.  I've regained my sense of humour now.

I've still not heard from the EA, apart from a marketing email for another local bungalow at £225.

    Is it a price reduction?

I rang at 3.26 pm and the person dealing with it was on the phone, still waiting for her to ring me.
