EON & Scottish Power

Hi
I'm hoping someone can help as I'm at my wits end with this.
October 2019 we moved into a property and the gas and electric were supplied by Scottish Power. We decided to switch to Eon as we were with them in our old property so we settled what we were due with SP and were switched over on 23rd October.
On my EON account is displays 2 electric meters. One which is correct and one that does not exist in the house. After speaking with numerous people it looks as though it is a historic meter and was used for storage heating. So my address is showing I have 2 mpan numbers again one which is correct and one that is no longer in use.
As my eon account shows 2 meters I have been unable to get an electricity bill. I have entered my meter readings religiously to ensure we are paying the correct amount (£107 a month for gas and electric) however as EON haven't been taking my meter readings into consideration. It says we should be paying £314 a month!
I am very worried about this and I'm someone who likes everything up to date etc.
I have been passed from pillar to post to have the non exist meter/mpan removed from my address..but no one will help me. I lodged a complaint with eon last week and they said I would hear something by today but I haven't.

Someone please help me sort this out. The meter does not exist in my house and no one is helping me. I don't understand why it can't just be removed from the national database if it doesn't exist .

Many thanks for any advice.

You have done exactly the right thing in lodging a letter of Complaint.
Though the problem is now Eon's responsibility, to be fair they have inherited it with your account and because of Covid they are working short handed - so give it time.
The maximum 'time' is 56 days after posting the letter, beyond that and you immediately go to the Ombudsman
