Well for a start I'd never ever install anything from an ISP. It really shouldn't be needed. Do you have just a modem or a router? I thought I would have to, to access TT's BB package. I have a SmartAX modem. Should I uninstall the TT assist & Go?0 -
I have searched the add/remove programmes and there is nothing there with Citrix against it.
When the error message first showed itself, I did a Google and it came up as Citrix.
The only new thing I have installed on my PC is TalkTalk and it's Assist & Go programme. Things have gone downhill since I changed from BT to TT. Could this be a cause. I have complained to TT re my poor phone line quality and very slow BB. They have asked me to record all problem over the next 3 weeks and report back.
Ahh so the actual error message didn't mention Citrix, only your Google search for the error? Ahhhhh...
That is a red herring, you don't have any Citrix components installed, and you don't have Citrix, so that definitely wasn't related to the error.
As superscaper says, you should just be able to connect without all the additional ISP software, have a look in Programs > Startup and see what is being additionally loaded at startup.0 -

The error message doesn't really say much. I'd suggest that you keep the broadband software. The only thing i could suggest is if you remember installing any new software, or if you've been inside the case, etc.0

Only think I installed recently was the TalkTalk BB disk. As for going inside the PC, not on your nelly!0
