Ryanair Passenger Tax Refund

I have a no show flight with Ryanair, Are they within their right to charge a £17 admin fee to refund the Tax which they have collected and not paid to HMRC?

Yes, because someone has to be paid to process it.
  • £34 in total? 2 passengers, I had the same with EasyJet but they refunded without a fuss or any admin fee. Certainly will not use Ryanair again.

You say that, but if the only alternative on the route you want is 5 times the price with British Airways you will be like a moth to the proverbial.

Thats the same BA who also charge a similar fee, by the way.
