Why not get a window company in to quote for new windows - then ask them for a report?
Might crystalize their minds if they think they can get work out of it?

I have same trouble got window company to tell credit card they were poorly fitted and using old technology  but still getting told this is insufficient  not really sure what they want as no one wants to give reports as the industry is unregulated
