Debt collectors ZZPS

I have read all the threads and I’m trying to not repeat similar questions already asked - but I got a bit confused when one of the threads mentioned It’s different if ParkingEye involved .  I lost my first appeal Through enterprise parking solutions for parking in a carpark that I hadn’t realised now had private parking -!i appealed that they didn’t have adequate signage as I genuinely didn’t realise - I lost that first appeal -  but didn’t appeal again through POPLAR. I’ve now received and £170 late payment debt from ZZPS - I’m trying to follow all the advice and be brave and ignore the letter but it says at the bottom of the letter , a Supreme Court ruling ( parkingEye- V - Beavis) has confirmed that a parking charge is enforceable - should I still ignore this letter ? Obviously it’s all very legal looking and you worry it will go to court but do I hang fire and do nothing - it the fact Parkingeye has confirmed the charge ?

You say you lost an appeal through Enterprise Parking Solutions.

    How are ParkingEye involved?

Anyway, the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collectors letters.

They are just trying (and succeeding) to frighten you.  It is still a debt collector letter.  Until you receive a letter before/of claim there is nothing to do - except more reading about the court stage. Don't understand the connection between ParkingEye and enterprise parking solutions - are they a parking company or one of those outfits that promise to clear the PCN if you pay them?

I doubt that the parking eye case and car park are similar to your case

If they had been identical then maybe it would have some merit

In any case , zzps can and should be ignored because they are powerless and cannot invoke Beavis or that Supreme court ruling

Enterprise ? Maybe , but not zzps

This is probably Enterprise Parking Solutions Ltd a BPA member; and the only "Parking Eye"  involvement is, the Beavis court case.

A lesson there for any poster who reads this thread to start with a CLEAR outline of the issue, the proper PPC, the car park and a timeline!

I wonder if the OP thinks 'parking eye' means ANPR cameras.

For newbies: ParkingEye is a parking company.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I appealed the case through Enterprise Parking Solutions- I lost this appealed and didn’t do anything else - the debt has now been passed to ZZPS ... in the speal at the bottom of letter it advises me not to ignore the letter and for My information , it’s informing me a Supreme Court ruling ( being the ParkingEye - V - Brevis) that a parking issued on private land is enforceable.
I’m not sure how ParkingEye is involved , this is how it’s stated on the letter

of course they say do not ignore it, but we say DO ignore it

ZZPS only get money if thay can sc@m you into payment , no win no fee , that is why ZZPS do not want you ignoring their drivel. if you did not ignore them then you must have some other action that we are not aware of ? its pay in full or ignore, I would IGNORE, you should too

come back if Enterprise or their legal firm contact you, not numpty idiot debt collectors

It's just the same Supreme Court ruling they all cite and it's 5 years old, and people here still beat parking firms 99% of the time.
