Buying a firestick,can I avoid paying for a tv licence

    The firestick is a mini android computer and can be modified by software updates from Amazon, it would be a brilliant marketing tool if they make a non-TV licence complaint version (no live TV and no Beeb - which is loaded as a default app and can not be removed at present) - huge numbers of people are disgruntled at the cost of a licence and salaries/waste at the Beeb - some of the saving could then be spend on Amazon Prime Movies...
