    I had a friend like that some years ago.
    After the latest drama when I spent all night on the phone trying to calm them down and then found out that they were out the following weekend with a group of friends but hadn't invited me, I told them that 'friends are not just for the bad times'.
    The next time they contacted me with the new crisis, I told them I was busy.

    You need to realise that they are not a friend. Really they are not.
