That would be unusual, there is a priority of acceptance in hard currency but that tends to be more for historic reasons. Paying in hard currency should make no difference, Turkish businesses might have a preference which would go euro then dollar then sterling but more to do with what they are used to transacting in, always worth asking the question especially if it avoids converting money which will always cost you money.
