*If I were you, I would ask in the local Facebook market groups for off cuts of carpets or rugs free of charge! People can be incredibly generous, good luckBe happy, it's the greatest wealth

Hello
How about buying a play pen. The room for you and the baby will only be small, so this might be the cheapest option, you also have somewhere to have her toys in too. Buy secondhand and give it a good clean, better doing this because if you get any type of loan you will have to pay it back. Best to be as thrifty as poss because when you get a permanent home you will need any extra money you can scrape together to make it liveable.0 -
Something like this combined with rugs could be an option https://www.amazon.co.uk/Graphite-Budget-Carpet-Underlay-14-4sqm/dp/B00446Q7SA Depending on how well it survives you could re use it if you get permanent accommodation.

What about foam squares?

Not too expensive, portable and you'll easily be able to use again once out of temporary accommodation.1
