Calor gas fires: The room heater type: The bottled gas they use is Butane in 15kg cylinders. https://appliances.calor.co.uk/
List price of a cylinder is £41.75. Each kg of Butane will supply 13.7kWh, so 15 * 13.7 = 205.5 kWh per cylinder.
4175 pence / 200.5 = 20.82 pence per kWh.
So more expensive than most electricity contracts.
Naturally the numbers change a bit for larger Calor propane cylinder sizes outside, or bulk LPG in a static caravan or home setting with a different fire type.
