If anyone decides not to go to the screening of the bank job in Leicester next week could you let me know as I tried to get tickets today and it says they are full.

I have 2x tickets to go and see ''The Diving Bell and the Butterfly'' in the Vue, Islington tomorrow night at 6:30pm if anyone wants them. I won them with Time Out Magazine.

Hi,

[FONT=&quot]I got some tickets off [/FONT][FONT=&quot]southernginge at the weekend and the person i was supposed to be going with can no longer go with me so there are 2 tickets are going spare...

Tickets are for Wednesday, at 6:30pm Odeon Whiteleys in Bayswater London.

PM me if you can make use of them as it would be such a shame if someone missed out since i can no longer use them!

I know you're new but you must have some common sense so I just needed to say this and get this off my chest. Why, oh why, oh WHY on earth would anyone who's got a code for films on Thursday or Saturday in Birmingham or wherever NOT have posted? Why would they have kept this to themselves? Can you not see the thread, it's 6 pages of codes people have kindly posted, so why on earth would these same people not have posted if they've found out about a new one. Can't you see that each code gives a list of cinemas which they are valid for? If there was one for Birmingham it would say so, and if there isn't it means there aren't any being shown there, to the knowledge of MSE.users. Requesting for some wont help you at all, If you're that desperate for tickets, do what the previous poster said and go out and buy them.

I know I may sound harsh but it's because not only does it make no sense to request for tickets (it's the companies/studios that make the codes, ask them if you must) but it clearly says on the first page "no chat/discussions/questions/requests" and it even says this in the bloody title, "no chat, just tickets".

It also annoys the hell out of a lot of people and here's why:

- a LOT of people are subscribed to the thread, meaning they get an email whenever someone posts. They then open their email, click on the link, delete the email, scroll down thinking there's a new code for a free screening, but read something along the lines of "Has anyone got any tickets for Outer Hebrides? my son really wants to see the new Harry Potter movie."

- then someone will no doubt post again saying how annoyed they are that people are making pointless requests on a "codes only" thread, which will send out another email to EVERYONE subscribed to the thread. Then the poster will say "sorry, I didn't know" etc. Then someone else will say "He's only new, no need to be so harsh". Then someone else will say "Stop this discussion, this is for codes only", etc. Each time sending emails out.

You might think, well it's not your fault people are having a silly argument over one little post, and you'd be right, it's not. But imagine if everyone requested for tickets. I want a ticket for next Wednesday in east London, am I allowed to post.this? What about the guy in Bristol, or Newcastle, etc. Imagine how many posts there would be, and subsequent email notifications?

So anyway, now I'm done. I was going to post this in the thread but since it is not a code and will obviously annoy a lot of people I'll just post this here. I really do think there ought to be a sticky as the last post as well as the first, otherwise these posts will never stop.

just been to see bucket list at thurrock-what a cracker!!! loved it, it had the right balance of humour and sentimantality and jack nicholson & morgan freeman were first class.
