Just back from Spiderwick Chronicles....well as a family film for kids about 8 and over it would be great...a bit too many nasty goblin and monsters for the younger ones ( and possibly too long and complicated plot for younger ones too) ..... and for us older ones...well we all know it's a 'family' film so nothing to be scared about. My rating is based on my enjoyment of it compared to the other films I've rated so therefore it's a 5.5 because it has some good effects and the action zipped along.
I think I'll have to wait to post this rating on FMUK as it's still not playing ball (that bullet must have done some damage!)0 -
A thread search for Glasgow shows at least 3 screenings. Just saying...don't yell at me for "chat".Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0

i really enjoyed spiderwick chronicals - a good family film a little slow in some places but a good 7.
now the rant - i can not believe how long i tried to get tickets and luckily sparky61 helped me out but the cinema was only 1/2 full. we are all sent reminders so there are no excuses for people not to email icantgo so they can be redistributed. it is so frustrating that familys have missed out due to some peoples "me..me..me.." attitude - admitedly some people will have good excuses but i doubt 1/2 a cinema full.
rant over - cineworld wandsworth is a nice cinema with comfy seats - i cant wait to watch the orphange tommorrow - if you hear screams it will probably be me as i have never seen a horror film in a cinema before- I came, I saw, I conquered :j

Hi guys
I was wondering does anyone happen to know if the tickets from screenbookings.com to go to a preview is any different to the seefilmfirst.com ones?
I'm asking because I got tickets for 27 Dresses Tues 18th March Vue Leicester sQ and the email has a booking number rather than my full name......as I've seen the film before I want to give them to my cousin so will she be able to get away with my email confirmation or does the cinema have a list of names next to the booking number at the screening? another question......probably taking the mickey but do you think she can print the same email confirmation to let 2 of her friends go as well......
when I've been to seefilmfirst.com previews the cinemas are never strict and i've even seen a lady take her group of friends in when she's only got one email confirmation for her whole group lolz[Member #28 in Free Film Previews Club - 7 Films seen in 2008 ] [ 1 Films seen in 2009] :cool:0 -

I've just got back from Wandsworth too, I was quite impressed with the film, it was comical in parts and a few of the characters were very likeable.
As we handed in our ticket, the guy told us, if we wanted to see The Orphanage for free tomorrow night, al we needed to do was go to the Box Office and ask for tickets, looks like they still have lots to give away. I'll be watching it at Covent Garden on Thursday, well, if my nerves don't give way  :eek:0 -

The screen bookings email is all that's needed.
I have a spare ticket for 2, my daughter can't make it now, PM if you'd like it for your Cousin.
