Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

Yeah they might think they have more rights as they are paying! :mad:

When you go to the Cineworld homepage then click on Film, TOBG is in a long list of films showing, and when you click on the film title, it says "showing from 7 March" but when you go on Select Date, it shows Thursday 6 March 6.30pm as well, without any explanation why (actually, earlier only 6 March was shown). I must admit that I have never checked this before and maybe they are always doing it to get the screening full?

I've got some tickets I want to swap with someone else but it says on the bit that you print out that you need to take ID with you to the film. How do you all swap tickets so that the other person gets in? Thanks

Everyone usually ignores that bit. I have never been ID checked.

all thats getting posted there now is offered spare tickets - if only there were a place for them alone, so that the codes thread would be less invaded...

Is it just me or is it a little cheeky to ask for a paypal payment if you are giving away or swapping a ticket that you got for free? (see other thread). I'm not sure why I found it so annoying but it has really really annoyed me - it's not in the spirit of this forum is it?

yes, billythekid certainly had the right to point it out, though I don't think the original suggestion was too serious - so we shouldn't all go criticising the poster. Its understandable that someone would maybe want something in return for a favour - and its not like it was a requirement or anything
