Yeah I would've thought - its like double glazed windows - even though theyre advertised as money-saving, i hear it takes 50 years to cancel the cost

hurm thats a thought - with more screenings in London, how long would it take to cancel out the cost of moving there (to the equivalent sized house or whatever)?
Although there are more screenings in London is there not more competition for the tickets?
I have a friend in Manchester and whenever I tell her about a code she says they go very quickly whereas here in Sheffield I feel very lucky as we have three cinemas doing screenings (odeon, cineworld and vue) and as long as screenings are offered it is usually possible to get tickets. The only screenings I've missed out on over the last 6 months have been because I went on holiday. :T

I never had problems with the seefilmfirst tickets yet, but I have terrible problems with Time Out and Moviebeat etc. Yes, we might have more screenings about and generally more cinemas to choose from but in terms of cost of living in London, I'd say people in other parts of the UK get a better deal! And I would love to see all films regardless of previews or not for £2 down at my local cinema like some here! :)

Yes, I do but I have paid a yearly membership fee £27 I think was. for that I got a pair of cinema tickets, the monthly programme sent to me by post, 70p off all cinema tickets or the 'specials' they have on a Friday where 2 or 3 of the new films thay have are offered at £2. I worked out that if I do try to go each friday it's more than paid for the membership fee.:)
I decided to get a membership after realising how often I was going and paying full price. They show a lot of foreign and independent films which you might never catch on DVD unless they end up being really succesfull.
