Both the OH and I have been turned down AGAIN for Time Out tickets, so if anyone has tickets for We are Together on 5 March (preferably Panton Street 6.30pm) and can't go, I'd be grateful to be considered. Thanks.

My OH was lucky enough to get two ticket for this movie showing in Surrey Quays. I registered her details on 'Time Out' as well to increase our chances of getting tickets. She is unable to go, but I (sorry!) intend to go myself with a friend. Does anyone think they will check ID for this event? If they do check and I bring my OH's passport for ID, maybe that will be sufficient?

Well if they check you, your OH's passport won't help much unless you look very female, LOL (which I know you don't).

That's where I found it - having a google through her drawers.

Turns out they are labelled C&A

I'm told that apparently this is so that she knows which way to put them on :rotfl:

Nah..... now that Jason Statham has finished producing bank job codes we'll send him round. :rotfl:

'The Orphanage' sounds fab shame it's just another London screening but it's bound to be on at my local independent so I'll see it for £2, I'm going to see 'Margot at the Wedding' tonight, it supposed to be quite good. :)

    Couple of things really

Yeah I get where you're coming from - while the situation here at MSE is great and all, the concept has a lot more potential...
by having a whole forum focused on it, there is much more space - individual threads for each code, discussions for each film, for other things too.
Yes, London will have a lot of members, and should work the best that way. The idea is this: y'know when there's a new post on the codes thread here? If you're like me, the first thing you check is if its a code, then look if your cinema is there.
The equivalent would happen at fmuk - but when someone's done that, if the code is for that cinema, if they're feeling kind they would copy the code into a new post in their local mini-forum. There, all the codes are posted into one thread making it easier than ever to get reliable email updates.
Yes, I'd be happy to clean up threads (even ones for cities not local to me, though i'll try to leave those to the local mods)
And I'll keep it as easy as possible - things shouldn't get too messy.
Though I will be relying on the forum members to basically do what we do here. There's not much more to it than that.
    Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

Well knock me down with a feather, I got Timeout tickets for We Are Together!

Beate/Phatz, I'll keep you both in mind if I can't go, had plans for next Wed, but hoping to rearrange so I do intend to use them myself!

travellingbum, I would have normally said don't worry but since it is odeon surrey quays I'm not sure about the ID - I just saw their ushers checking for the Bank Job on Tuesday but that was a seefilmfirst preview. Just wondering if that particular cinema is getting strict on those things?? - although it might be a one off.
