Hey guys, can I ask your opinion on something?
For quite a while I've considered creating a forum specifically like our two threads for free cinema tickets here, but with much more space (e.g. a separate thread for each code).
Now I've seen MSE ripoff forums around before, as have you, I imagine - and I can assure you that is not what I intend to do (although the first batch of codes will have to be copied from here, I'm afraid)
My question is: would you consider it an MSE ripoff? If so I wouldn't make it, but I feel there is so much more potential for free film discussion that just isn't possible on a forum so diverse as MSE!
I think it's a fantastic idea and I would want to be on it! We rip most of the codes from HDUK anyway (and they rip ours), so I don't see the problem. Codes don't belong to anyone, and film discussion is always a good thing! We could have a separate thread for film ticket/premiere competitions (as opposed to codes) and we could create spoiler threads where we could discuss film contents for people who have seen the film already, and people who haven't yet don't have to read the spoilers. There's a lot of potential there! Go for it!Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Any comps that have the chance for many tickets to be awarded as prizes then I think the codes thread is the correct place for them

I agree, if we allow Time Out screening posts then we certainly must allow Filmfactory and Moviebeat posts, as there is a real chance of winning I think! I certainly would not want to miss out on them, although I agree that they all seem to be for London which is not fair on the rest of the country, but that is not really our fault.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I sorry!!! I was unsure but the first one I posted appeared to be no different to a TimeOut screening, apply for tickets and then wait to find if you've got them. The second is a comp but I thought someone had been asking for Game Plan tickets
.
I've found another comp and shall post here:
it's from Total Films

I might be a bit dumb, but what is the name of the film? And why on earth is that screening on a Wednesday at 1pm? Stupid time for any working person!Reclaimed thanks to this site:
