A little treat for my fellow Brummies and for you wonderful Mancunians as well.

Just had the weekly newsletter from AMC Cinemas and they have kindly offered up a printable coupon for a free small drink OR small popcorn redeemable this weekend. Although it is a promotion based around Rambo it would seem that you can redeem this regardless of what you go to watch. It's a shame they only have 2 cinemas in this country cos they are fantastic (well, the Birmingham one is anyway). I've had so much free stuff from them courtesy of their Moviewatcher loyalty card type scheme and through their newsletters and stuff.

I've been to the AMC cinema in Brum! It's quite cheap, isn't it? And they have a parking garage right next to it which is free when you get your parking ticket stamped in the cinema or something. I remember some panicked moments in there though when we couldn't find our car at first and then had to get out in time before the 10 minutes were up which they give you between paying and leaving!

  • Hi guys - just a heads up to say I just emailed seefilmfirst to return to 2 tickets for 27 Dresses, 5th March, Wimbledon Odeon (as I also won the evening standard competition). So possibly there will be 2 tickets available soon via the seefilmfirst website(?) Codes as per the free code page.

I don't really know what the policy is at seefilmfirst and relisting tickets, but if they do relist i would rather a fellow money saver got them (;>) so hope this post isn't totally pointless!
  • Thanks for this .... I just got 2 tickets for Uxbridge.

Myself AND the OH both just had our rejection emails from Time Out for The Boss of It All - how dreadfully annoying. I thought with the OH applying as well we stood double the chance, but Time Out just does not like us. We really need to get another code for it from seefilmfirst, I try marialionza's code every day but no luck. :(

Me too :( - does anyone ever get tickets for the Time Out screenings? I enter every time as soon as I get the email and not once have I been sucessful. Unimpressed that in the covering email they always say that they have a fair selection system and I will be rewarded for my continuing loyalty...

Got my rejection too from Time Out for The Boss of It All. I also missed out on 2 movies last night. but instead ended up seeing Afriki Afrika, which was excellent, i would recommend everyone to see it.

You can buy toddlers at the cinema? :D :rotfl:

Yes of course you can! As long as its from the cinema, mind, and not the local nursery...

Epic adventure movie '10,000 BC' is in cinemas from 14th March, but www.moviebeat.co.uk have some tickets to an exclusive London preview screening to give away!
From director Roland Emmerich comes a sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, when spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth.

In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter D’Leh has found his heart’s passion – the beautiful Evolet. When a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D’Leh is forced to lead a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her!

Driven by destiny, the unlikely band of warriors must battle saber-tooth tigers and prehistoric predators and, at their heroic journey’s end, they uncover a Lost Civilization. Their ultimate fate lies in an empire beyond imagination, where great pyramids reach into the skies. Here they will take their stand against a powerful god who has brutally enslaved their people.

The screening is on Sunday March 9th at Empire in Leicester Square at 3:00pm. Winners will be notified via email on Friday 7th March.

Yes it's a competition to win screening tickets but it doesn't say only 5 pairs or anything so should be a whole cinema screen worths!!

Hi do you have a direct link to it as I just registered but can't find any reference
    Thanks
