Right, used up our last 50% off Zizzi voucher and then went to the Renoir Cinema near Russell Square, which is a quaint small cinema with only two screens but a bar area and plenty of sofas to wait for the film to start. And you needed them because the 8.30pm screening became an 8.50pm screening because the people from the 6.30pm screening didn't leave until 8.35, and then they had to tidy up the screen. Can't have been much tidying, thankfully the Renoir doesn't sell any popcorn, hotdogs or nachos you could spill all around you. The room does have a bit of an incline but there wasn't much legroom, and the lanky guy two seats to my right stretched his legs right across the legroom of those two seats. Now, stop rambling and tell us how the film was. Well, I am not sure what to think. Maybe I am not into those kinds of films, but it all went a bit over my head. I kept looking at my watch, while the OH had a little nap. The film was sort of just rambling on and the storylines never really met. The ending was also quite abrupt, I thought. I give it a 5/10. I would be interested to know other people's thoughts - both screenings were very full so there must have been one or two MSE members!Reclaimed thanks to this site:

A little treat for my fellow Brummies and for you wonderful Mancunians as well.
Just had the weekly newsletter from AMC Cinemas and they have kindly offered up a printable coupon for a free small drink OR small popcorn redeemable this weekend. Although it is a promotion based around Rambo it would seem that you can redeem this regardless of what you go to watch. It's a shame they only have 2 cinemas in this country cos they are fantastic (well, the Birmingham one is anyway). I've had so much free stuff from them courtesy of their Moviewatcher loyalty card type scheme and through their newsletters and stuff.
