I joined film first many years ago and saw a couple of good films, Panic Room with Jodie Foster and Road to Peridition but haven't had an email for a long time.

I have just logged in and my account is still valid so I used the code fro the other thread and have 2 tickets to see The Bank Job on Monday.

So its 103 to go.....:) :)
Thanks, please take number 34 and amend your signature accordingly. :)

yeah I joined SeeFilmFirst a couple of years ago but only first got emails off them for the first time last year for Little Children and and 28 weeks later, it was only last summer that I realised I had to go hunting for codes!!
Now I get emails from the fairly regularly but usually they are for codes for films that I already have tickets for through this website! :) :T

Hi, I'm new to the free cinema tickets lark but have been checking the other thread daily. I've noticed it seems to be the same cinemas running the free screenings. Has anyone ever noticed Cineworld Wood Green or Enfield showing up with free codes?

I hate selective screenings. Give me a code and let me bung it into seefilmfirst, that's how I like it!

Beate, that's the way I like it too - you know where you are with seefilmfirst!

Still a bit gutted that I gave up the opportunity to see The Other Boleyn Girl because it originally clashed with tix I had for The Bank Job - especially as it seems The Bank Job is the new Juno - i.e. trillions of codes are floating around for this film. I couldn't miss not getting tickets for this film, even if I had been away for a few weeks - there are so many codes. Seeing it on Tuesday - it better be good!

I got tickets from Time Out once, that was for Brick Lane last year, and was the first time I tried. Nada since then. I only got to see The Edge of Heaven last night because I was forwarded tickets. We had no adverts though beforehand! I did see Sweeney Todd thanks to Eros Card but that was also the only time they did award me tickets. I hate selective screenings. Give me a code and let me bung it into seefilmfirst, that's how I like it!

I will keep trying guys - you have restored my faith in the system!!

I've noticed that most of the screenings are for Odeon cinemas - Cineworld/Vue and Showtime (?) have previews a lot less often.

Is the Lee Valley Odeon any good for you?? - you might have to make that extra bit of effort - I used to rarely go to Greenwich Odeon if I was paying for a film (think I had been once in the last 8 years) even though it is relatively close to me (something about going south of the river, seems a lot further than it is!) but I've had to use it as my cinema of choice for free previews and the journey is not that bad.

This is not in response to anything I've read on this thread, it's simply a vent of frustration...

Over on the codes only no chat thread I am so tired of receiving 3 or 4 notification emails telling me new codes have been added only to find it was simply 1 person making a mistake and 3 others telling that 1 person off in capitals and repeating the rules over and over again... it's boring and annoying.

Surey those correcting the person in the wrong are just as bad, would it not make more sense to delete the post, or have mods edit the original and send that person a pm to explain why ?

On a nicer note, I do appreciate the codes people give :)

I agree, I think it is very rude to react in red capitals, especially if that person just tried to help!

Thanks for replying Opas. I did get a free ticket once for Lee Valley and would be prepared to go again but am rarely successful in getting tickets. I tried going to a more distant cinema recently for a free viewing of The Bucket List. Got lost, arrived late and found I was at the wrong cinema anyway. The place was deserted so I'm afraid I marched into one of the screens and just watched a film anyway.:o It was Cloverfield but at least the monster and the giant spiders gave me a good laugh. Only four other people were in there so I definitely wasn't depriving anyone of the cost of a ticket or the chance to see a hot film....:rotfl:
