Ta, it has absolutely nothing to do with me whatsoever, just my name and file have somehow ended up being linked to it. 
But clearly this is absolutely fine and i shouldn't want to find out how and why this has happened.

I would disagree that it's fine, though you're entitled to your opinion.  And wanting to find out why is understandable.  But it doesn't bestow rights upon you that you don't have.

I wanted an overseas holiday this year, but I'm not entitled to one.
