Can you not hard-wire a new oven instead?  The cable can certainly bear more than 13A. Even a double socket can do 20A.
I am not sure that this is allowed, but certainly is possible.
    Now that's interesting...
The 13A socket is in a box with the switched 16A hard-wired hob connection and the circuit breaker at the fuse box is an NSB40 (40A).
Maybe I'll talk to a sparky.

You'll have to search for <built under ovens> not double ovens ...  they will have dimensions to suit that under-counter situation.

I replaced a single with a double in one home, but it necessitated removing the old single carcase (similar to yours the single sat on a shelf with a blank panel under) and the AEG double sat on two metal support rails (supplied with it) screwed into the adjacent cabinets.  Others have feet to sit on the floor (like many cabinet carcases have).  We wanted it mainly for grilling in the top oven while using the main oven for other things.

But you'll be very lucky to find one that is under 3kW total load so suitable for a 13A fitted plug.  I've certainly failed dismally so far.

Get advice from a reliable local electrician about the existing wiring and what can be done to allow a hard-wired oven to be fitted?

Failed heating elements are often easy and relatively cheap to replace, too.

Thanks for the comments, folks; I decided to stick with a single one and have ordered one of these.
I debated fixing the existing one, but TBH I never really liked it that much and cooking something was always a bit hit & miss.
I also considered a floor-standing built in one, but it could've been one of those simple things to take out one 60cm space's shelves which suddenly turned into buying a new kitchen!
