welcome back - I'm sure you got this.  if you are tempted to wobble just ask yourself what you would feel like in 5 years if you were still paying stuff off.  nobody can tell you what to do except yourself so listen to you (especially listen to your imagined older and wiser and more speed off self)

got to help the kids out as well, tough but got to do that
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

Been on holiday and had my birthday both of which were much needed.  Had some money left over so put another £90 on my card.  Waiting for my last statement to come through then i can say what i owe on each and also the dates when 0% run out and i cant wait to see the numbers coming down.

Watching the numbers come down is such a thrill - but it can get stale if you push too much fun out your life.  But its a balance isn't it

    These are the figures now
    Card 1 £5847.08 (these are 0% £450 Nov 2025 & £5150 Mar 26) the rest £247.08 is on standard interest.

    Card 2 £1864.01 (these are 0% £115.91 23 August 2025 & £1664 14 april 2026) the rest £84.10 standard interest.

    Card 3 £735.00 this is 0% till 31 March 2026.

    Paid off Card 1 £62.75.  Card 2 £204.01.  Card 3 will have a dd for £25 minimum.

Hoping to pay off more.  I have covered the card 2 interest paying part and the 0% that runs out this month.  Need to start on card 2 interest paying part and the 0% that runs out November.

Not been a great start as when we came back from holiday had a water leak i  the upstairs bathroom had an emergency plumber out that cost £300.  Also my car is due an mot on Friday so got everything crossed that's not going to need any repairs.  Also an expensive month gor birthdays got my dad, niece and mum.

It certainly is a balance I flip between holidays and spending to wanting to pay off my cards.

The car is gifted she cant really pay me back she is a university and needs a car to get to and from uni.  I dont mind but its the second car i have paid for and she shows no respect for it.  Anyway thats beside the point as she wont be paying me back.

If she isn’t respecting it then I’d be making her pay something towards to.  Does she have a job ?  Could she not have used some of her maint loan ?

Are you still working at the toxic environment?
