Total 15127.39. Cant pay off the money from my PPI refund yet as i have not received the cheque yet i am assuming they will probably be delayed due to lockdown and i am limited to saturdays only to get to the bank to pay it in. This weekend i need to do a few jobs sort out what christmas presents i have and allocate money to what i need to get. Tidy up house and hoover and dust top to bottom. Most importantly dont spend money

A lot of bank apps allow you to scan the cheque from your mobile - some people don't trust them, and whilst I'm wary I haven't had an issue yet, and I must have done dozensI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Just caught up on your diary. Whilst I understand that you keep things separate when comes to finances with other half I think you need to be open and honest about it so that as a family you can make changes. Could you do a decluttering and sell things on Fbook or eb@y to earn some more pennies. I know you said you don't want your 16 year old to work because she needs good grades but when I was at college I was only in a few days a week so working a weekend job was easy to fit in. A lot of the supermarket chains such as l!dl and @ldi are good for hiring young people along with b&m if you have any of those near you. As long as she uses her time during weeks wisely there's nothing stopping her getting a job.

Sorry been so busy lately checking in today with NSD 1 for december. Still awaiting the cheque for my PPI presume this is delayed due to covid. November was a bad month and i just let go of everything and i had to borrow money from Other half to keep my bank account out of the red so i am disappointed in myself.If you dream it can you do it????????0

So far I have 3 NSDs for December. Thought i had all my christmas presents then realised i had forgot 3 people oops. DD2 has only been back to school a week after self isolating for two weeks and now she is off school for the next three days due to staff shortages. My work as usual are not understanding and apparently my 11 year old is not a minor and could be left at home all day alone. Luckily my eldest is off college today and friday so the youngest is not home alone. Things like this really get on my nerves about my work people can go and pick there 19 year olds up and there child cant walk home from school at 15 but im expected to let my 11 year old walk home alone and stay at home alone, i cant even check if she gets home by text through my fitbit. But they can answer there phone all day and talk rubbish to there kids. So many stupid doublke standards and lately i have been averaging since september 5 hours unpaid overtime a week yet im the one who keeps taking and giving nothing back.If you dream it can you do it????????0

I am not making any resolutions but my goal this year is to get my debts down to £7500. A realistic target not paying everything off as that would be unachievable. I am waiting for a credit card statement to come and then I will know my starting number.If you dream it can you do it????????1

First NSD of the year today. Tomorrow will be a spend day as I'm off to the opticians been a couple of years since my last visit, last time I didn't have new glasses as my prescription had not changed, but this time I need new glasses as one pair broke and I don't have a spare pair.If you dream it can you do it????????0

Not another had since Saturday.
Credit card debit as follows
M= 6400.23
B=6064.73
S=15.88
V=2832.49
Total credit card debt= 15313.33
Also bank loan owe 1893.
S card will be paid off this month. All cards are mainly 0% one has small interest charge. Went to the opticians and being as though I haven't had new glasses for 5 years I had a new prescription it cost me £320 for two pairs the main cost is having the lens thinned down. I could have used an internet specs provider but I don't trust them and I have to wear my glasses all the time so I do get my money's worth out of them. Also paid off the company who I owe for chasing my ppi so that's done. Tomorrow is weekly shop day I have a list prepared and I want to stick to it.If you dream it can you do it????????0 -
Tuesday and thursday are nsds so that is 3 total now. Im being more mindful and trying to keep a spending diary to keep me focused.If you dream it can you do it????????1

Well here i am again 4 years later and still debt hanging on this is beyond silly. Debts now are
M= £2002.12
B= £5700.00
V= £760.00
This is the lowest amount of debt i have had for a long time. Last year the eldest daughter had to have a newer car as her car was getting to be a liability and if i had not borrowed the money for this i would owe £4000 less which is disappointing. I am approaching another birthday and i am aware i am closing in on a 0 ending birthday in a couple of years i would love to be debt free by then also my partner is older than me and my retirement age has gone up so i dont want to be working for another 7 years after he has retired. The tricky thing is trying to do all this while not thinking and feeling that you are missing out on life. Is it acheiveable possibly!! My kids have now both finished school so i have that off my plate now. I am trying to keep the ever spiraling food costs from going through the roof, buit this proves impossible when you have to provide for a child at university and another who goes from famine to feast in a week.If you dream it can you do it????????0
